Big Bend After Dark is a premier guided night-sky experience in the Big Bend region of Texas. We offer hands-on, educational astronomy experiences that feature laser-guided night sky and telescope tours, live deep-space astrophotography using digital smart telescopes. Whether at our spot or yours, we help you explore the cosmos in an intimate and fun new way.

Not at all! Our tours are designed for all experience levels. We host absolute beginners to seasoned night-sky enthusiasts.. You will learn all about the night sky and the things contained within it.

The Deep Sky Experience (2.5–4 hours): Our flagship stargazing tour. It includes a laser-guided night sky tour, visual viewing through large Dobsonian telescopes, live deep-space astrophotography, and hands-on smart telescope operation.

The Remote Dark Sky Adventure (4–6 hours): An immersive, off-the-beaten-path excursion. We depart before sunset to catch twilight views from exclusive private stargazing spots or inside Big Bend National/State Park, followed by a full laser-guided tour and Dobsonian telescope observations under extremely dark skies.

Deep Sky Experience: Set up at our main location (or at your private Airbnb/campsite for an additional setup fee).

Remote Dark Sky Adventure: Conducted at hand-picked private stargazing sites around the region or inside Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park.
